How Starbird chicken Took Flight
It all began in 2014 with a simple belief: that fast food could be genuinely good. Our founders — lifelong food lovers and Bay Area locals — were tired of compromising on quality when dining on the go. So they set out to create something different: a starbird chicken experience that put fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and real hospitality at the center of everything.
Starting from a compact kitchen on El Camino Real, we perfected our signature starbirds-style recipes over hundreds of iterations. Word spread fast. By 2017, customers were lining up out the door, and Starbird chicken had become a household name in Palo Alto and across the Peninsula.
